FEATURES
OEM FIT
-ZERO modifications need to be made for the DM-3 to install into your vehicle. Every piece of your interior can go right back into place including your shift boot, leaving a factory fit and look while having the best shifting experience available. Even use your factory shift knob!
NO REVERSE LOCKOUT CABLE
-Our reverse lockout system is 100% integrated inside of the DM-3 so that you won't have to deal with a cable running on the outside of your shifter.
CENTERING MECHANISM
-Our centering mechanism uses billet aluminum components, twin detents, a ceramic coated torsion spring, and an ENDURO MAX radial bearing for the most precise movements. The spring pressure has been increased compared to the OEM feel to give the user a firmer shift when moving the shifter out of center. The centering mechanism works in conjunction with the one inside of your transmission. This feature helps greatly when shifting through the entire "H" pattern by helping guide the shifter through the gears easier. For example, during a 2nd to 3rd gear shift the centering mechanism will help guide the shifter into 3rd gear easier making sure you don't miss.
SHIFT STOP (5th & 6th)
-The factory shifters are not equipped with a shift stop for 5th and 6th gear. The DM-3 shift stop for 5th and 6th gear comes standard and provides improved mechanical feel when selecting 5th or 6th gear. This is achieved by physically stopping the shifter locally on the DM-3, and to load your factory cable with this force.
GEAR STOP (OPTIONAL) FREE WITH PRE ORDER
-An "in gear" stop which engages when physically shifting into any gear. Our Gear Stop prevents the factory shift cable from being forced past its limits (putting additional force through the cable and ultimately into your transmission) by placing adjustable stops right on the DM-3. The Gear Stop also features a built in detent to take slop out of your shifting system created by the loose and compounding line of tolerances between the end of the shift cable, and the internals of your transmission. While Centering Mechanism removes slop in the left-to-right direction, the Gear Stop removes slop in the front-to-back direction when the shifter is in neutral or any gear.
CHASSIS MOUNTED DESIGN
-Our chassis mounted design secures the foundation of the DM-3 to the chassis with ceramic coated steel brackets for maximum rigidity and protection of your shifter. Unlike competitors’ aluminum mounting brackets, we use steel which has a much higher tensile strength when compared to aluminum, this results in more feedback and a better shifting experience.
TOOL FREE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
-Adjusting the height of the DM-3 does not require ANY tools or the disassembly of your interior that other aftermarket shifters require. Simply rotate your billet aluminum leather boot collar for over an inch of shift knob height adjustment. This easy adjustment can provide both a change in throw and a change in the force required to shift.
SHIFT PLATE
-Our included shift plate is ceramic coated and bolts right onto the factory shift plate proving short and direct throws for the DM-3.
